Garrett Ingoglia, vice-president of emergency response at AmeriCares, is responsible for coordinating our worldwide response to earthquakes, floods, famines, hurricanes and other humanitarian crises. AmeriCares responds to about two dozen emergencies every year, both here in the United States and abroad, delivering medical aid and relief supplies to survivors in need. Most recently, Garrett was responsible for overseeing the large scale emergency response to Superstorm Sandy, and the Moore, Oklahoma tornado here in the U.S., as well as the humanitarian crisis and civil conflict in Syria, and the current response to the 2013 flood crisis in Uttarakhand, India.
